New Year’s Resolution, join an IAP2A Local Network group

Sydney & Melbourne Local Network Advisory Group Expressions of Interest:

Sydney and Melbourne Local Network Advisory Groups are looking for engagement practitioners within the IAP2A member base who are interested in joining the advisory group which will convene monthly. The group in partnership with the IAP2A membership team is collectively responsible for the long term strategy of the Local Network program, which is a critical component of the “Strengthening Engagement Networks” pillar.

This is a great opportunity to work collaboratively with other practitioners and the IAP2A team to contribute to invigorating the Local Network and advancing the practice through the delivery of strong content, themes and concepts. You will need to be able to volunteer around 1-2 hours of your time per month plus attend at least 50% of the events held in your region.

The advisory group adopts a shared responsibility model and there is an expectation that you will work closely with IAP2A in coordinating one event per year on a rotation which will involve a further contribution of your time of approximately 2-3 hours.

We are looking for a diverse group of applicants, across all industries including consulting, construction, government agencies and planning & infrastructure fields. We also encourage our Young & Emerging Professionals to apply.
