Expressions of Interest | Specialist Engagement Experts for a range of opportunities

IAP2 Australasia is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced Engagement Professionals to work with IAP2 as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), training developers and/or facilitators to develop and deliver engagement training topics for the engagement industry.
This expression of interest includes:
- Working as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with an Instructional Designer to develop learning opportunities; and/or
- Course or program development; and/or
- Facilitation of sessions across Australia/ NZ.
Experience and Expertise
We are looking for proven and senior experts who have some or all of the following:
- Extensive and wide experience in various general or specific specialist areas and topics of engagement practice (essential);
- Credibility in working with engagement professionals and a wide range of allied professionals in different industry sectors (essential);
- Training qualifications (essential for course developers and facilitators, but not essential for SMEs).
Candidates may also have existing courses they deliver and be interested in partnering with IAP2 in a commercial capacity.
Candidates must be a current member of IAP2 Australasia.
The successful candidates will report to the Professional Development Manager and will need to work in a collaborative manner with the IAP2A team.
Process
The process will include:
- EOIs submitted;
- Shortlisting and selection of preferred specialists;
- Successful candidates will sign a Confidentiality Agreement and go on the preferred SME provider register (approved SMEs);
- As opportunities arise, SMEs will be contacted to provide services.

- Expected fee structure or suggested financial model (eg fee for service, partnership, etc)
- Expectations regarding developed IP if in a partnership model (note: all Background IP would continue to be retained by owner, all developed IP contracted by IAP2 under normal commercial terms would become the property of IAP2. These terms are expanded upon in the Services Agreement.)
- Overall details of existing course material as applicable and how it aligns with the IAP2 curriculum
- How you would meet IAP2 principles and values.

Final EOIs are to be submitted electronically to sharon@iap2.org.au by close of business Friday 13 March 2020.
The EOIs will be evaluated on the following basis:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver services according to IAP2 standards and values | 35%
- Relevant Experience | 35%
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner with IAP2 team | 20%
- Costs/ financial modelling in AUD$ | 10%
IAP2A reserves the right to accept the proposal most favourable to the interests of the organisation, and not necessarily the lowest cost proposal.
The successful providers will be notified by Friday 20 March and will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement prior to being considered for opportunities as they arise. As opportunities arise, approved SMEs will be contracted to provide services and required to enter into a Services Agreement (Short form) with IAP2 Australasia.
IAP2 Australasia intends to seek Expressions of Interest for SME providers on an annual basis, or as required.
