A first for the Central Queensland Local Area Network – congratulations on your first networking event!

Our Central Queensland Local Area Network recently got together for their first networking event hosted in Rockhampton. Attendees enjoyed an afternoon of networking, engaging discussions, and expert insights into public participation and community engagement.

With numerous significant infrastructure and energy projects underway in the Central Queensland region, best practice engagement is front of mind for this lively and passionate cohort.

While the afternoons discussions ranged from Stakeholder Relationship Management tools to community consultation strategies, there was a keen focus on the impact of psycho-social hazards faced by front line engagement professionals, and mitigation practices that can be deployed.
