A Perfect Match. Uniting Community Involvement and Impact Assessment.
This event was co-hosted with the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (SEQ Division).
This 1 day conference explored the practices of impact assessment and community consultation. This conference was the first of its kind and will provide practitioners from both fields the opportunity to hear from industry experts through keynote presentations, case studies and workshops. Members can access the presentations from our members only resource section.

Ruth Davies of Maunsells hosted the last IAP2 CHAT session for the year at their Melbourne City Office. Ruth Woods and Mandy Black from the Shire of Yarra Ranges spoke about "Community Engagement at the Township level” based on their experience of engaging communities across the vast expanses of Yarra Ranges.

Case Study Presentation
Andrew Stevenson, of Tasman Research and Consultation, presented a case study following the Ministry of Education’s consultation process to decide how to provide schools to a growing area of Auckland – Flat Bush. Andrew’s presentation is available here
